Our holiday in Barcelona, Spain, on April 6-10 with the other American staff from Lezha Academic Center was a time of good fellowship and relaxation, and for me some good times photographing nature. Here are some of the flowers I saw.

A three-foot high bush was producing loads of yellow daisy-like blooms not far from our hotel. I'm fairly sure it was an African Bush Daisy (Euryops).

The Diagonal Mar Park runs several blocks until it gets to the sea. Here are some photos I captured of the spring bulbs that were buried in shallow water along the park's waterways.

On my slow walk back from the sea, I found more interesting plants and blooms.

While I do not like the way my hip/leg pain slows me down and makes me frustrated, it does help me to "stop and smell the flowers." For that, I thank God!
